Hello, I am Bob Partridge and thank you for visiting the web site for Leatherstocking Guide Service. We are located in Central New York State near the small town of Milford which is on the Susquehanna River. The Catskills are to our south and the Adirondacks to the north. Cooperstown where the baseball Hall of Fame is located is just nine miles away. The landscape here is mostly rolling hills, farmland, woodlots and state forests. We've got lots and lots of deer, big flocks of wild turkeys and fantastic small game hunting. We also offer waterfowl hunts and we even do ice fishing in the winter. Milford is a quiet and peaceful rural area, and if hunting, fishing and just being in the outdoors are to your liking, then this is your spot!

*** HUNT UPDATE: The 2009 deer and turkey seasons have now ended. Results were right where they ahouls be with all hunters seeing deer and many fine trophies taken. We took four especially nice eight point bucks during the rifle season. You can see pictures from our 2009 hunts by clicking on the links at the bottom of this page. We are now booking all hunts for 2010. *** References are available, but out of respect to our hunters we do not post names and phone numbers on the web site. Just ask and we will be happy to put you in touch with some folks who have hunted with us in prior seasons. This will include both successful and unsuccessful hunters. *** Please be sure to take a look at the "Hunts and Rates" page and "Outfitter Information" page using the links below. Many of your questions regarding our area, the land we hunt, accommodations and how we hunt will be answered there.
