Hello, I am Bob Partridge and thank you for visiting the web site for Leatherstocking Guide Service. We are located in Central New York State near the small town of Milford which is on the Susquehanna River. The Catskills are to our south and the Adirondacks to the north. Cooperstown where the baseball Hall of Fame is located is just nine miles away. The landscape here is mostly rolling hills, farmland, woodlots and state forests. We've got lots and lots of deer, big flocks of wild turkeys and fantastic small game hunting. We also offer waterfowl hunts and we even do ice fishing in the winter. Milford is a quiet and peaceful rural area, and if hunting, fishing and just being in the outdoors are to your liking, then this is your spot!

*** 2009 HUNT UPDATE: We still have limited space open for hunters during the opening days of the 2009 New York State rifle season. Rifle hunts later in the season are open and we do kill some nice deer after the woods quiet down a bit. Archery and muzzleloader deer hunts are still available too. Be sure to visit us for our fantastic Spring gobbler hunts or try one of our "guaranteed" fall turkey hunts. *** References are available, but out of respect to our hunters we do not post names and phone numbers on the web site. Just ask and we will be happy to put you in touch with some folks who have hunted with us in prior seasons.
